Baldemar Mondragon Obituary - The tragic death of Baldemar Mondragon-Albarran, a resident of El Mirage, California, was brought about by a gunshot in the Mojave Desert. During a press conference held on Monday, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department revealed that Mondragon-Albarran was one of the six people who tragically lost their lives as a result of a dispute regarding marijuana.
Senior investigating sergeant Michael Warrick stated, "We are confident that this appears to be a dispute over marijuana, which resulted in the murders." His statement was made about the homicides. The officials emphasized the connection to organized crime, but they did not disclose any evidence that cartels were involved in the process.
The other victims, including Mondragon-Albarran, were said to have "apparent fatal gunshot injuries," and four of them also had "severe burns," as stated by Warrick. During the evening of January 23, at approximately 8:16 p.m., a distressed victim called 911 in El Mirage, which is located in a remote region of the Mojave Desert. This is when the horrifying discovery was made.
After receiving a call from a man who was unsure of his location, law enforcement officers responded promptly to the scene of a shooting that had been reported. Following the completion of subsequent location tracing operations, law enforcement officers discovered the six victims inside and around two vehicles. Five of the victims were discovered dead on the same night that the distress call was made, and the sixth victim was discovered the following morning.
Franklin Noel Bonilla, age 22, Kevin Dariel Bonilla, age 25, and a man who is 45 years old and whose identification is pending notification of his next of kin are the four individuals who have been identified during this investigation. The identity of Mondragon-Albarran has also been established. Currently, two adult male victims have not been identified.
