Rick Hayes Obituary - Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Rick Hayes, a devoted father, partner, and treasured member of our community, passed away unexpectedly. The news of his passing is something that we are imparting to you with the utmost sorrow. Rick's untimely departure from this world occurred on the evening of Wednesday, January 31, leaving his family and friends in a state of disbelief and sadness.
Rick experienced a massive heart arrest while he was at home with his partner, Judy Perkins. These events occurred while Rick was at home. He sadly passed away as a result of the unexpected occurrence, despite the heroic efforts of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other treatments that were intended to save his life. During this incomprehensibly difficult time, we want Rick's family to know that we are thinking of them and sending our sincere condolences. Our hearts are heavy as a result of the unexpected loss, and we want them to know that we are sending our condolences.
We respectfully request that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the challenges that this heartbreaking era presents. Additionally, we ask that you keep us in your prayers as we go through this challenging time. During this time when we are having a hard time coming to terms with the sudden and tragic death of our dearly loved Rick, the support and condolences that you have provided are a source of comfort to us.
Before the Celebration of Life that will take place at twelve o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 10th, there will be a gathering and greeting that will take place at eleven in the morning in honor of Rick Hayes. This will take place one hour before the event. Life Foursquare Church, which can be found at 2954 W. Ash Avenue, Decatur, Illinois 62526, will be the place where this memorial service will take place.
Individuals who are present will have the opportunity to share stories or memories that they hold dear that are related to Rick during the Celebration of Life that will take place. We would be delighted to hear any humorous memories that you would like to share with us as we come together to celebrate the life of a man whose influence touched the hearts of many people. We find solace in the memories that we have of Rick's life, and we would like to extend an invitation to anyone who knew him to join us in paying respect to a parent, partner, and friend whose presence will be sorely missed.
