Troy, a man of service, devoted six years of his life to becoming a member of the United States Air Force. During that time, he served with pride and dedication, making significant contributions to the defense of our nation. The selfless sacrifice he made and the dedication he showed to his duties were both examples of his character and his dedication to a cause that was bigger than himself. Princess Anne High School was where I received my education.

With his graduation in 1984, Troy embarked on a journey that would have a profound impact on the lives of a great number of people. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved, which extended far beyond his achievements in the military and in education. His influence was felt far beyond those accomplishments.

Someone who had the honor of knowing Troy expressed the sentiment that "Troy was a great man; his personality will never be repeated and will be sorely missed." This sentiment is shared by those who had the opportunity to know him. Everyone who came into contact with him was left with an indelible impression thanks to his singular combination of humor, compassion, and tenacity.
