They try so hard to learn how to become a good programmer but they also fail to follow the proper guidelines that will promote and enhance their career for success. In these simple steps below, I will list out 10 simple steps that will guide beginners and professionals who are programmers to achieve a fantastic career in programming.

• Gain the necessary knowledge to help you grow in the IT programming sector. This requires you to bag the various degree and training necessary to become a good programmer. 
• They are various areas where you need to specialize as a programmer. For example you could decide to specialize in web development, mobile application development and even software development. You need to stick to one and become a master in that field.
• Technology changes rapidly and it will be important to learn new technologies and languages that will keep your relevant in your career as a programmer.
• Do not force yourself or be hard on yourself when you are trying to learn a new skill in programming. Do it at your own convenient pace and time till you understand that skill.
