Ashley Strnad Obituary - Around the time of the alleged murder, the man from Sault Ste. Marie who is accused of killing a woman in Los Angeles had a Facebook page that was relatively active but for some reason, it suddenly stopped being updated.
According to documents that were obtained from the Superior Court of California, Jeff Primeau was taken into custody on February 9 in connection with a murder that took place on November 22, 2023, making it approximately three months prior to the current date.Primeau, who had previously worked as an asbestos and insulator for the utilities division of Algoma Steel, made an attempt to run for mayor of Sault Ste. Marie in the year 2022. On the other hand, he was unable to collect a sufficient number of signatures on his nomination form before the deadline passed.
In November of the previous year, Primeau began posting photographs and videos to his Facebook page in order to document his journey across the country.
His travels across the country were documented in these posts during his journey. A few days prior to the alleged murder, he was observed driving a recreational vehicle (RV) and having a conversation with a female friend.
In a post that Primeau made on Facebook on September 17, two months before they crossed the border from Canada into the United States, he mentioned that they had been seen together for the first time in the same recreational vehicle (RV).
At this point in time, it is still unknown what brought the two individuals together. In addition, Primeau published photographs some time between the middle of September and the middle of November that appear to highlight a stroll that he was taking from Searchmont to London. Before he was granted permission to enter the country, these photographs were uploaded to the internet.
