In particular, as a devoted fan of Mississippi State, he found solace and joy in the tranquillity of fishing, the thrill of hunting, and the excitement of watching baseball. Jonny's daughters, Kelli Hall and Lacy Ledbetter were the source of his greatest pride and joy. They brought him an incalculable amount of happiness and gave his life a sense of purpose.
