Muriel Scott Obituary - At the Magherafelt Manor Nursing Home on January 26, 2024, Muriel Scott, who was a beloved member of the Culnady community, passed away in a serene and unruffled manner. During the time of her passing, she had reached the age of 88 years. She had been Geordie Scott's wife for a considerable amount of time, and he held her in the highest regard. Apart from being a devoted mother to her children Anne, William, and Gillian, Muriel was also a treasured mother-in-law to Chester, Pat, and Geoff throughout her entire life. Her children Anne, William, and Gillian were her children. She was a person who loved her grandchildren, in addition to being a devoted grandmother to Gregg, Dawn, Paul, Kyle, Glenn, and Lewis, and a great-grandmother to Jake and Faith. She also had deep affection for her great-grandchildren. Gerald and Beth, two of her siblings, had already passed away before her passing, in addition to Muriel.

Her bereaved family as well as the extended family circle will remember Muriel with affection and will experience a profound sense of loss within their hearts. The compassion, warmth, and loving personality that she possessed left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the opportunity to come into contact with her. During this time when the community is coming together to honour Muriel's life and legacy, let us take comfort in the cherished memories we shared with her and the love that she showered upon each and every one of us. The fact that she is no longer with us does not change the fact that her spirit will continue to be a source of inspiration and encouragement in our lives.
