O’Loan Robin Obituary - An overwhelming sense of sorrow has been left in the hearts of O'Loan "Baby" Robin's family, friends, and community members as a result of his untimely passing on January 14, 2024. He was a devoted father, grandpa, and childhood companion who left an impression on the lives of a great number of people through his warmth, love, and generosity. Baby was the affectionate name that was given to him. He was a cherished grandpa to Farrah and Kit, as well as a proud father to Luke, Caolan, Reilly, and Sky. Baby was also a proud father to Sky. He was completely devoted to his family and his love for them knew no bounds. He took great pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren, creating wonderful memories that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
During their childhood, Kari and Baby shared a special relationship that was characterized by love and friendship. Their relationship exemplified the enduring power of love and friendship, and Kari will always remember Baby for the love and pleasure he brought into her life with his presence. St. Comgall's Church in Antrim will be the location of a Mass that will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Baby's life and pay tribute to his legacy. After the funeral mass, Baby will be laid to rest at the crematorium that serves both Antrim and Newtownabbey. Flowers should be sent exclusively to the family, and donations should be made to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, a charity that provides assistance to families mourning the loss of a loved one. Donations can be sent to Bairds of Antrim or made online at www.bairdsfuneralservice.com.
The wake will start at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, and family time will take place from 10:00 p.m. this evening until 11:00 a.m. the following morning. Family time will be observed in the evenings on Monday and Tuesday when the wake will be held from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The wake will be held simultaneously. The legacy of love, generosity, and compassion that Baby left behind will be remembered and treasured by his entire family as well as by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Even though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy will continue to inspire acts of love and compassion for many years to come. "Baby" is May O'Loan's song. May Robin rest in peace, secure in the knowledge that he was deeply loved and appreciated by each and every person whose life he touched.
