Rosaleen McCrory Obituary - On January 25, 2024, Rosaleen McCrory passed away peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family. Her passing marked the conclusion of a life that was filled with love, dedication, and memories that will be cherished forever. Rosaleen McCrory, who was Gerard McCrory's beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaves behind a legacy of love and family that will be remembered and treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her. The love that Rosaleen had for her family was boundless, and she was the very centre and soul of her family. She was devoted to Gerard as his wife and a loving mother to his children, Fionnuala, Maeve, Declan, Eamonn, Colm, and Brendan. She devoted her entire being to the process of nurturing and caring for her children. Her residence was a haven of love, laughter, and warmth; it was a place where cherished memories and priceless moments were shared with one another.
The affection that Rosaleen had extended beyond her immediate family to include her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished the most. Spending time with them, watching them grow, and showering them with love and compassion were all things that she particularly enjoyed doing. Her presence brought joy and happiness into their lives, and they will carry her memory with them for the rest of their lives. After a funeral procession departing from Rosaleen's former residence at 11 Ashwood, Lurgan, at 1:15 p.m., a Requiem Mass will be held at St. Paul's Church on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate her life and pay tribute to her passing. Following the conclusion of her funeral, Rosaleen will be laid to rest at St. Colman's Cemetery.
Our friends and family will be able to join us in spirit as we celebrate and remember Rosaleen's life and legacy through the Requiem Mass, which will be broadcast live on the webcam of St. Paul's Church. This will be available to those who are unable to attend the Mass in person. While we are saying our final goodbyes to Rosaleen, let us take the time to cherish the times we spent with her and the love that she freely gave to us.
